Thoughts: The small budget rooms are really small but thats what you pay for. Still, there is space for luggage but TV was really tiny. Wifi speed was excellent. I did like that it provide free basement parking.
Rooms nearer to ground maybe a little noisy as nearby pubs music goes wild till mid-night. The receptions are quite friendly, but extras like pillows have to pay deposits. Rooms are clean and tidy when walked in, and no foul smells.
Pay a bit more (like above rm$200+++), you will get 32" flat screen, larger room, carpet floor, and a bit more classier decorations than the simple twin room.
Pi Hotel is located a little distance (maybe 500-700+ meters) from the favorite eateries like Lou Wong Ngah Choi Kai, Concubine Lane or Tong Sui Kai and 300+ meters from watering holes along Jalan Lau Ek Ching! Actually not too bad a location with a basement carpark as those popular eateries or tourist destined locations are usually with heavy traffic and challenging/frustrating parkings.
Overall, the hotel is not bad, I got mine free from "Agoda Cash".
