Thoughts: So, Cafe 新元华 "Sun Yon Wah" was the origin of the 雪花啤酒 Ipoh Snow Beer. I was here the Jalan Bijeh Timah and accidentally dropped to seat opposite 新元华 "Sun Yoon Wah", this one I am having supper and the snow beer is called 元华 "Yoon Wah" and the Beer lady said one is the father and the other is the son's cafe!
Nevermind, who's who, the 雪花啤酒 Ipoh Snow Beer comes with a choice of beer from Asahi to Carlsberg, its an super ice-cold frozen mug with a normal bottle of beer; but once poured in, once the beer is poured into the over-chilled-frozen mug; the foam crystalizes forming a white snowy layer, it actually taste nice, not sure its because of psychology but it did seem quite refreshing! The "金香螺 Balitong" was interesting, perhaps next time should try others here or next door 新元华 "Sun Yoon Wah"!
