@ 俊发菜园鸡饭 Juan Huat Kampung Chicken Rice & Ah Weng Koh Hainan Tea (阿荣哥海南茶档) at Integrated Commercial Complex (ICC) KL Pudu

Thoughts: ICC has a few changes since I visited here 3 months ago. Parking no longer available at 1st floor as it is now converted to shops. However, more parking now at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor; while the 5th floor is reserved for some events/conventions. The Parking here is still free, for now!
I stopped by Ah Weng Koh for its Hainan Tea and try out the Chicken Hor Fun. It is $10 for the Chicken Horfun but since I asked to remove the prawns, the chef/owner charged me $9. The Kampung Chicken (Village Chicken) is indeed "well" cooked deserving to be called 滑鸡. For the $9, you get a generous amount of Hor Fun, vegetables, as well as bean sprout with the chicken.
The Hainan Tea is as good as before, 阿荣哥 Ah Weng Koh's business has not been easy lately. No doubt, there seem to be a lot of customers but 阿荣哥 rented a large segment/area of ICC with much higher rental rate compared to when he operated his business at the Old Imbi Market; rumors has it that his current rental is at least $15,000 per month and with overheads it will probably be either $30,000 - $40,000 per month. 阿荣哥's Hainan Tea is at $2.40, for that he has to be making and selling at least 550 cups of Hainan Tea a day just to break-even! That is certainly not an easy feat, when people talk about the famous 阿荣哥's Hainan Tea, it only sounds glamorous but certainly there is a lot of pressure and difficulty to maintain enough sales of his cups of Teas to sustain the costs of business before he is able to even make a profit.
