上海面+饺子+鸡丝粉皮+熱豆浆 HKD$65
Thoughts: Not the main course of 上海面+饺子, but I particularly enjoy the 鸡丝粉皮+熱豆浆 which is the Appetizer and dessert drink of hot soya bean. 鸡丝粉皮 is a cold appetizer which an appearance of a flat almost transparent noodle. The cucumber slices and that special sesame taste like sauce particularly goes well with the 粉皮. 粉皮 or "Mung Bean Sheets" is are really a type of Noodle, originating from Shantong Province of China. It seems that besides as a cold dish appetizer, 粉皮 or "Mung Bean Sheets" is also popular for stir fry or even hot pot. I really that its chewy texture.
This shop at MongKok, 饺子県 as its name is perhaps famous for its dumplings. Too bad, I am eating alone as I can only try 2 choices from a list of 10. (9 pork and 1 lamb).
For the set of HKD$65, you get 2 dumpling choice and a noodle choice which I chose the Shanghai noodle. I would say it is a good dinner choice on my 2nd night in Hong Kong!
