Thoughts: Opened in 15th Sept 2018 last year, food here are medium-high price range. Mussels are from New Zealand, Lobsters are flown in from Boston, and my Squids are from Argentina! For lunch, I am having the "Rellenong Pusit" where "Relleno" borrowed from Spanish means "Stuffed" (So, "Rellenong Pusit" is Cebuano/Philippines writing for "Stuffed Squid"). The recipe calls for a big squid where it is usually stuffed with 碾碎猪肉 pork ginillings but my plate was 2 big squids stuffed with I think tasty but not too spicy but flavorful tom yam influenced fried rice. On the side some salads, cherry tomatoes, lime and home-made "very spicy" sauce! Really, a beer/wine would really go well with the dish but I planned to be somewhere else for a cuppa after the late lunch.
Deepsea Food not only serves Lobster, Fish, Prawn, Crab, Squid, Shell Food, but also Sandwich, Pasta, Poultry, Salad, Soup. The food is halal, but the restaurant also serves alcohol (beer and wine).
You may have to dig deeper into your pocket for a meal of Lobster pairing with some wine which will set you back at least rm$200++! However, other seafood meals are around rm$20-rm30++.
My squid of "Rellenong Pusit" was well prepared, good presentation, tasty, and I enjoyed it and I am sure the quality of the other seafood offered here are very high as the business is operated by a family who have been in the seafood import/export business for many years.
