Thoughts: Arrived here before 6:15am, the Kopitiam already brightly lighted-up with hawkers busy preparing for the day. I could place the order for Croissant but Hoilam Cha have to wait for the
Sifu who only arrives around 7am.
I had the same Savory Croissant on Feb 02, 2018 (almsot a year ago) at Thong Kee Glenmarie, liked it then. I got to know that Thong Kee bakes their own Croissants, both shop location (Glemarie and Seapark) offers the same menu choices of Croissant (either Kosong, Kaya Butter, or the Savory variant). The Savory variant comes with Cheese, Ham, and Egg sandwiched in the Croissant; mine from the 1st production output from the Kitchen today by the foreign workers, well done indeed!
I imagined that the "Coffee/Tea Sifu" must be an elderly man but around 7am, here comes a young man barely in his maybe late 20s. Kudos to this young chap who makes a really good Hoilam Cham, made my day!
If you are coming here at 7:15am+, you will have a find a carpark elsewhere, customers start coming for breakfast here around 7am and by the time leaving, the kopitiam was alrady almost full-house. I'd say the signature dish here are definitely the Hoilam Cha, worth trying if you need a "Coffee Gao" one to start the day, and the home-made Croissnat is also worth a try!
