Thoughts: The locals told me there are 2 stalls here on the same road, one of the road side (push cart) which is the original stall and another one where the owner bought a shop lot and subsequently open another one at the shop lot. The 2 stalls are within walking distance and the reason to maintain the old stall is because its the original road side location where customers are still familiar.
Regardless, it is said that the taste of Hokkien Mee are the same in both. As both still use charcoal for the cooking. If you are hungry at 3am, no worries as the stall closes at 4am in the morning! Definite a must-try as I would think this is one of the best Hokkien Mee in Penang.
