Thoughts: The Octopus (the beer bite) was more expensive than my actual dinner of Mee Sua! Nice as an appetizer but the chili sauce was really spicy for me. I'd probably prefer the 三味蚝 3-taste-oyster or 海鲜券 seafood roll next time!
Unfortunately, only can beers are available here.
The "海鲜面线糊 Seafood Mee Sua Tow" was definitely worth the drive here. Lets see what's in the bowl: 面线 Misua, 鱼翅 Shark fin (I think a little bit), 虾 Prawns, 鱼漂 Fish maw, 魚片 Fish slice, 螃蟹棒 Crab stick, 香菇 Mushrokm, 扇贝 Scallop, 蛋 Egg, and 醋 Vineger! That's why it deserved the word Seafood in front of Mee Sua.
I highly recommend the "Mee Sua Tow", the must-eat here at Teow Chew Meng! Every ingredient in the bowl seems really fresh, very appetizing. It is something I've never tried before, I like it. The service is also good in the fully air-conditioned restaurant. Parking here in the evening shouldn't be a problem.
The Signature dishes of Teow Chew Meng is their Mee Sua, Porridge, Noodle Soup, and Tom Yam Soup based Seafood (up to rm$190++ for Abolones), those are for Group Meals. But the 炒奶粉 Fried Lye Fun, 蚝面 Oyster Mee, and 海鲜炒饭 Seafood Fried Rice does look interesting; something I look forward to in the future! The restaurant does not offer a big menu list of choices and I think it is perhaps a good thing that they offer what they do best.
