Thoughts: my first visit to Village Park was 28th Dec 2017 where I had the Ayam Rendang, Daging Rendang, & Sotong Nasi Lemak and I missed the "famous Ayam Goreng Peha 炸鸡腿 (Fried Chicken)", I did like the Redang and Sotong.
This is the 2nd visit after more than 1 year, arrived here slightly before 7am and lucky to find a parking as the restaurant both interior & exterior seatings are already with many customers savoring Village Park's Nasi Lemak.
Waiters here quite efficient, from order to delivery in less than 5 minutes this morning. Of course, my preference today was the Fried chicken drumstick with Nasi Lemak. I like the Sambal here, not too spicy for my liking, some sweetness there as well. Coconuty flavored rice (not oily nor dry) goes well with the fried chicken. Bit disappointed with the Teh Tarik compared to last time! Overall, worth the early drive here.
The Restaurant opens as early as 6:30am, and even at the time of 7:30am, parking will be challenging. But you can always go for 1 hour free parking in Starling Mall and walk here.
Village Park also offers Nasi Lemak with 红肉 Red Meat, 乌贼 Squid, 虾 Prawns, 壳 Clams! In addition, I see in the counter Economy fried Beehoon/Mee as well as Malay Kueh. A smart business person appealing to the entire Malaysian population where all can walk in and enjoy the the Nasional dishes together.
I suppose next time coming here, I can try the Economy fried noodles with sambal plus some Malay Kueh!
