雪莉登波 Shirley Temple rm$10 🤔🤔
Budget: MYR$10-rm$50++
Cuisine: Alcohol and Food
Highlights: opens 11am, full bar, Pool, Sports TV
Public Transport: Pasar Seni LRT station (10 min)
Thoughts: Interesting bar that seems to open as early as 11am where the decoration is kind of groovy and plays 雷鬼音乐 raggae music (I think), it is just next to "Backpackers Lodge".
Happy hour alcohol prices seems quite affordable from rm$10-rm$25 for mocktails, cocktails, shooters and house wines. (mostly below rm$20)
I had a "雪莉登波 Shirley Temple" (mocktail), supposed to be a non-alcoholic mixed drink traditionally made with Ginger Ale and a splash of 石榴 Grenadine, garnished with a maraschino cherry! Reggae Bar's Shirley Temple was Lemonade + Ginger Ale + Milk + 石榴 Grenadine, not too sure about it; maybe it was the milk, it came with half a glass of foam!
Raggae Bar KL China Town also offers 2 Pool tables, Sports TV viewing, indoor and outdoor seating areas. I remember the food menu includes pizza, sandwich, burgers, pasta, bar snacks, local food etc. I'd say the joint is probably good for a gang of friends or colleagues to chill out after work as the music played wasn't too loud at least early evening which allow conversations.
There is also another Raggae at Changkat Bukit Bintang! Anyway, It was an interesting 30 minutes at this Pub in KL China Town, regardless of the disappointing Shirley Temple!
Rating: 5 / 10 🤔🤔 (the drink)
