Thoughts: 3-4pm is an odd time, as many shops close around 2pm+ and evening sessions probably starts after 6pm! But Ho Ping coffee shop, on Jalan Penang offers Penang Char Koay Teow, Lobak, and coffee. At normla times, besides above, the kopitiam offers quite a variety of other local favorites including pork noodle, cantonese hor fun, roasted charsiew rice, mee goreng, koay teow t'ng, bao, toast, and half-boiled egg. Situated in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance from Cititel Hotel on Jalan Penang, the un-assuming kopitiam offers quite a lot.
I am not sure what's the best Char Koay Teow taste like, but I like this one here!
