Thoughts: This little shop within walking distance from St. George Angalian Church or Goddess of Mercy Temple on Jalan Masjid Kapitan, with only one chef (should be owner) and his assistant, offers quite an extensive menu. The 2-page A4-size menu offers almost 60 dishes from porridge, fried rice, noodles and soup varieties; not just that but also around 30 breakfast type items such as sandwich, toast, omelette, and snack varieties! The 90+ dishes and 30+ beverages are offered all-day-long.
With so many to choose from for breakfast, I settled with Penang Hokkien Mee+Beehon. The bowl garnished with boiled egg slice, fish balls, prawns, slice pork meat (I think), and lots of fried onions. A very satisfied morning breakfast, not too spicy too my liking (although at this point I seem it spicier!), the choice of Kopi was an excellent after meal hot beverage! Nice! Very Nice!
Several other dishes offered which strikes an interest are local Penang dishes like the 福建炒 Hokkien Char (not the KL dark sauce fat noodle!) and a Malay dish called 公芭虾面 Kumbar Prawn Noodles (originating from Penang's Teluk Kumbar). Definitely worth coming back for breakfast or lunch when opportunity permits.
