Thoughts: Interestingly, there are at least equivalent amount of female and male customers in this "water hole", and it did seem that many also come here to dine (other than having a beer or two)! With the parking here free from 6pm onwards till midnight, it is easy to understand why office workers would dine here, especially from Sunway Geo is also easy escape back to USJ, Puchong, or PJ via the Damansara-Puchong Highway, Pantai-Baru Highway, or Shah Alam Highway; all 3 Highways are within easy reach from Sunway Geo!
Beer here (1/2 pint) is below RM$9 (for Tiger) & RM$11.32 (for Guiness) that is if you pay using the TBFX App (saving of RM$1++). The small table has 2 QR-Codes, standard tables with 4 QR-Codes at each corner (the QR Codoes has a unique identifier for the waitress to deliver to the tables); with the App, a customer with the mobile can scan the QR-Code and order food or beer and pay online with Debit/Credit card all without interaction with the staff here and your food and beer will be delivered to you.
The pub is on 24/7 happy hour pricing! Other than beer & liquur; it also offer bites as finger food for beer and actual meals (called rice bowls).
Since May 2018, Sunway Group has officially launched the "Sunway WiFi" across its 800-acre township of Sunway City, providing free internet access to all public areas including Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway Lagoon, the three Sunway hotels, the Sunway educational institutions, and throughout the ‘Canopy Walk’ – a 4-km elevated walkway connecting all the aforementioned establishments throughout the city including the now Sunway Geo Avenue. It is therefore not surprising to see people surfing with their laptops even in this bar!
It is definitely worth visit in the future to try out some of their bites and meals in rice bowls!
