Review: The theme in this 10th year is a review of the past 9 with motives from all of the past seasons of Putrajaya Floria. Since a couple of seasons ago, the organizers have decided to move the venue from Precinct 1 to Precinct 4 and since then they have started to charge entries to the exhibition. I enjoyed the first few seasons as I always arrive as early as before 7am and started shooting. We all know that once the sun comes out and around 10am, the light is going to be too harsh and very hot. Since moving to Precint 4, the exhibit only opens at 9am, which means leaving only around 1 hour before the heat and sunlight really kicks in.
A lot of flowers indeed but just too difficult to photography in the heat and intense sunlight, walking from one exhibit to another was really difficult under the hot sun! Don't mind paying but for me, I hope a 7am entrance is a much welcome in the future. Manage to put through 3.5 hours of shooting until 12:30pm and just have to quit after that. Really envy Flora that is exhibited in countries like Hong Kong, Korea, or Japan or any country with 4 season where if the exhibit is in the Spring time; one can really be phototraphing the whole day long with mild weather and sunlight! Still, it does not matter and looking forward for Putrajaya Floria 2019 next year.
The exhibit will end this sunday, right after the Merdeka day where this year the celebration of the 31th August Independence day for the first time will be held in Putrajaya!
