Thoughts: Sunway Geo is an Integrated-Development with Retail, Felxi-Suites, and Residents within walking distance from one another. Strategically loated next to the Sunway BRT station, therefore connects to USJ 7 LRT interchange to USJ and KL. It was opened in 2016.
The "Sunway Geo Avenue" is part of that development of 7 million square feets of amenities and facilities offered by Sunway City. It is just besides the BRT station and opposite Sunway Hospital. Important to note that Parking is here FREE from 6pm - midnight! The Grould Floor houses many restaurants, including lounge (beer), coffee house, restaurants, fast food, and Jaya Grocers!
My first visit here was for the Ratatouille Restaurant! I expect a lot (psychologically, from the animated movie in 2007). My dinner was Smoked Duck Spaghetti, its too oily for me and too little of duck taste, or maybe it was overpowered by all the chili sauce! But maybe other choices in their menu worth trying next time.
The restaurant is opened by a Singaporean Chinese where this branch here in Sunway Geo is Pork free, there is another one in Klang Valley which served Pork. Too bad there is no "Ratatouille" in the menu!
Ratatouille is a French stewed vegetable dish, originated in Nice (France). Somehow the word Ratatouille means "to stir up", it has its origins as a coarse stew in the 18th centry. But the modern version has tomato as a foundation together with a lost of vegetables like sautéed garlic, onions, zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers, marjoram, fennel and basil, or bay leaf and thyme (Wikipedia).
In the movie, Chef Gusteau's famous motto: "Anyone can cook. But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.". Lets give this restaurant another chance of visit in the near future!
