The USJ location is the 1st branch of the Ramen specialty shop which opened in October last year (around 3 months now) which mean another Japanese Restaurant in USj10 alone, AND I believe "Ramen Mob" at Wisma Conlay also opened in the same month as "R for Ramen":

Looks like both "Ramen Mob" and "R for Ramen" specializes in Ramen Noodle dishes. BUT today's dinner at "R for Ramen" are Japanese Hamburger dish and Eggy Fried Chicken dish!
The rm$17 "雞蛋炸雞肉 Egg Chicken Katsu" (without the Rice), カツ Katsu, a Japanese dish consisting of a piece of meat, usually chicken (雞カツ Torikatsu), pork (とんカツ Tonkatsu), or vegetable, covered in 麵包屑 bread crumbs, 油炸 fried, then usually cut into strips and eaten with a sauce. AND today's Egg Chicken Katsu is the Torikatsu with Egg and Onions, and a pretty sweet variant of the typical Torikatsu.
The second dish today is a rm$17 "日式漢堡配鸿喜菇 Hamburg Shimeji", a 日式漢堡 Japanese style Humburger with 鴻喜菇 (White beech mushroom or Buna Shimeji mushrooms) on the side, and unfortunately another sweet dish for dinner today. The Japanese style Hamburger (or Hamburg) is made from ground meat (ground beef or ground pork)with finely 切碎的洋蔥 chopped onion, 雞蛋 egg, and 麵包屑 breadcrumbs flavored with various spices, and usually quite thick and it is not served with bread but vegetables on the side. AND the Japanese Hamburger is probably more of a 肉餅 Meatloaf than an 美式漢堡 American Hamburger! The ハンバーグ Japanese Hamburger is a type of 洋食 Yoshoku (西式日本料理 Western-style Japanese cuisine). The very first appearance of this dish in Japan dates back to the 明治時代 Meiji era in the mid 19th Century (at the time it was more of a steak than a meatball) and was called "德國牛排 German steak". The first hamburger recipe in Japan is recorded in the "西洋烹飪法 Complete Book of Western Cooking Law" (高野慎太郎 Shintaro Takano, 1905). In general, eating this type of dish in Japan was considered expensive because the beef was highly prized at that time. The Americans brought in their very own American Hamburgers 第二次世界大戰後 after World ware II, via the US military occupation in 佐世保市 Sasebo City of 長崎縣 Nagasaki prefecture after the Japanese was defeated in the War. BUT it is the 1960's that the Japanese Hamburg steak became popular as a more affordable way to serve otherwise costly meat. Magazines regularly printed the recipe during that decade, elevating it to a staple dish in Japanese culture.
