Today's morning cuppa is an excellent rm$12 "Atap Blend 2.0", a medium roast blend of 埃塞俄比亞天然 Ethiopia Natural and 肯尼亞式水洗 Kenya Washed. I am by no means a coffee enthusiast but according to its Facebook post, the customized blend has berries, raisin and strong black tea notes in black and butterscotch raisin cookie notes in white; and this customized recipe was roasted by Ophanim Coffee Roasters.

Thoughts: "Atap by Pagi Coffee Co." is a hidden/speakeasy café, located upstairs of a shop lot inside a Tattoo studio called "Wayang Kulit Tatu" in SS15, and I think most people will probably be quite weary of going inside a Tattoo shop for a cuppa!

The Tattoo shop shares a common area with the little café. The café offers 濃咖啡 Espresso coffees, 手沖咖啡 PourOver Coffee, non-Coffee, some 糕點 pastries choices, and also notice some 蘇打 Soda and 康普茶 Kambucha in the cooler.
This 3 years old SpeakEasy Cafe "Atap by Pagi Coffee Co.", started in 2019 and the barista/owner insisted to use 咖啡槓桿機 coffee lever machine (manual espresso machines) from the very beginning, while most Café uses the semi/automatic espresso machines. Lever espresso machines require much higher levels of skill than semi-automatic ones, and when the Barista master this manual method of pulling a shot; the result is not just satisfaction of a good cup of coffee but also to the Barista. Highly recommended for "Kopi Kaki's"!
