Thoughts: While Bagel is a popular bread product in North America, don't think it is that common here in typical bakery shops. BUT today for dinner, stumbled into a Café that is opened by a Korean called "Park's Bagel". The Bagel specialty shop is in Tropicana Garden Mall located in PJ's Tropicana Indah, which is next to Kota Damansara. AND it is one of very few malls which is directly accessible to the MRT station (called Surian).
Thoughts: While Bagel is a popular bread product in North America, don't think it is that common here in typical bakery shops. BUT today for dinner, stumbled into a Café that is opened by a Korean called "Park's Bagel". The Bagel specialty shop is in Tropicana Garden Mall located in PJ's Tropicana Indah, which is next to Kota Damansara. AND it is one of very few malls which is directly accessible to the MRT station (called Surian).
Park's Bagel offers at least 10 variants of Bagel from 普通 Plain, to 罌粟籽 Poppy seed, 肉桂 Cinnamon, 洋蔥 Onion etc. AND also more than 13 choices of cream cheese, but Sandwich with cream cheese are also available. Drinks are Coffee, Tea, or Soda. For Dinner, it is rm$19 "Bagel Everything w/Smoked Chicken Ham Cheese"! "Bagel Everything" is mixed flavor Bagel with "Something (can't remember) + Garlic + Poppyseed + Salt BUT maybe should have gone with the waitress recommendation of 洋蔥 Onion or 大蒜百吉餅 Garlic Bagel. AND for cream choose, I opted for "雞肉火腿奶酪 Smoked Chicken Ham Cheese" BUT maybe also should have gone with waitress recommendation of 墨西哥胡椒 Jalapeno or 蔥 Spring Onion cream cheese! The rm$19 is a set that comes with a Bagel with 1 cream cheese choice plus Americano coffee.

Bagel is not a Donut (甜甜圈)! BUT Bagel have several names in Chinese; for example in Taiwan is called "貝果麵包", or more commonly called "百吉餅"! The last time I had a bagel (not a Bagel specialty shop) was October 7, 2021 in a Café called "Front Room & The Kneady Baker" in KL Taman Desa where Bagel is just one item in their western menu.
