Thoughts: 百啡待興 Drift Coffee opened some times in April 2021, about 15 months ago, the Café is just a short walk from Taman Bahagia LRT station. MBPJ parking here is quite challenging BUT there are lots of parking for a rm$3 per entry at "Taman Bahagia LRT Car Park" which is less just next to the shop lots.

The Cafe's name in Mandarin 百啡待興 probably can be translated as "Hundred cups of Coffee waiting for Happiness", run by the Ng siblings who are PJ natives. The Café offers a minimalistic design that presents a spacious interior despite in a single shop lot. Long cement bench seats with coffee table for 1-2 persons per table that comes with electrical power points, and I confirm with Mr Ng (the owner) that the Café is Laptop friendly. It is a good place to do some work in a laptop in the Café as music is not too loud.
Today's coffee after lunch is an interesting rm$13 "沖繩黑糖拿鐵 Okinawa Black Sugar Latte" that uses imported 沖繩黑糖 Okinawa Black Sugar! 沖繩黑糖 Okinawa black sugar has been made since the 17th century in 沖繩縣 Okinawa prefecture. The Japanese black sugar makers will boil 甘蔗汁 sugarcane juice for hours until it becomes 黑色糖漿 black syrup, then allow the syrup to sit until it hardens into blocks of 深棕黑色的干糖塊 deep brown-black color dry sugar. AS Okinawa black sugar is less refined compared to white sugar, which is 麥芽味 malty, 鹹味 salty, 焦糖味 caramel flavor even makes it possible to eat it plain. And in Eastern Asia, Okinawa black sugar is prominently used in drinks and desserts. 未精製的黑糖 Unrefined black sugar contains 礦物質 minerals like 鉀 potassium and 鐵 iron that are filtered out of 白糖 white sugar. In 中國大陸 China, 台灣 Taiwan, and 日本 Japan, adding some black sugar in 薑茶 ginger tea is a 家庭療法 home remedy for 疲勞 fatigue, 噁心 nausea, and 感冒 colds. Food today: 6.5 / 10 👍👍😋
