Thoughts: 三井購物公園 Mitsui Shopping Park 啦啦寶都 LaLaport 東京灣 Tokyo-Bay (東京郊外的船橋市 in Funabashi, just outside of Tokyo) is one of the largest western style shopping center in Japan, a shopping destination with about 440 specialty stores in various zones ranging from 時尚 fashion, 家居裝飾 home decorations items, and 角色商店 character shops to restaurants offering diverse cuisines, 電影 movies and 美食廣場 food court. LaLaport Tokyo was opened in 1980 but it is not an old mall because it have had various upgrades over the years to make it look still modern, new, and up-to-date with current trends; and it is also quite famous in 東京 Tokyo. Tokyo Lalaport can be reach via train, a five-minute walk from 南船橋車站 Minami-Funabashi Eki on the JR京葉線 JR Keiyo Line plus there are Free shuttle services available from the train station to the Mall.

KL's Lalaport at Pudu is also easily accessible via public transport, and in-fact from the exit of 漢都亞地鐵站 Hang Tuah Monorail station, there is a direct link bridge from the station to the Mall. This BBCC (Bukit Bintang City Centre) Lalaport is the first official Lalaport outside of Japan in 東南亞 South East Asia. Opened its doors to the public on January 20, 2022; the new mall with 82,600 sq m Lalaport BBCC has approximately 400 stores that will be ready in stages. Besides it being just like any other Malls with a variety of stores and especially worth noting are these Japanese outlets:

玉丸屋本店牛排館 Tamaruya Honten Steakhouse (Wagyu beef)BUT besides the Japanese shopping experience, Lalaport is located at somewhat a historical site of the 101 years old Pudu Jail (1895 - 1996), the original Pudu Jail gate facade was restored and remain standing at the entrance to Lalaport. This 8 storey retail mall is impressive in its size and Architectural elements, perhaps taking design inspiration from the Japanese Architecture by using timber finishes and warm colors and lights, both the interiors and exteriors. Two unique outdoor features were visiting are the WOW Plaza which is also the outdoors 美食街 Gourmet street, and another are the Grand Stairs which illuminates at night leading up to the Central 屋頂花園 Rooftop Garden; both are perhaps best experience in the evening and at night due to the hot weather in KL.
