Food Thoughts: Done right, it is a nice bowl of soupy goodness that makes for a comforting and fulfilling meal - the "Pork Noodle" and my favorite noodle that goes with it is the "Rat Noodle" ie (Loh Si Fun). Peter’s Pork Noodles, previously located at the former Peking Hotel and now their present location is at Money’s Corner Food Court (Brickfields) and another one nearby Restoran One Sentral which is managed by the founder's son.
At $6, a bowl of Peter’s Pork Noodles offers a generous serving of minced pork as well as pork slices, along with noodles of your choice (hor fun, bee hoon or rat noodle), a few leafy greens, bits of spring onions, and a few slices of liver. Add $0.50 for an egg which is recommended choice. Could not find any pork lard in my bowl, else it would be perfect. I had the soup version today, maybe will try the dry version next time! If you are here early in the morning at 7+am, you can see Peter himself or several of his staff preparing the fresh pork slices and pork livers for the day.
Peter's Pork noodle is one of the stalls in Money's Corner food court, which is an old foodcourt located inside the car park at the bend of Jalan Thambipillay before it joins to Jalan Vivekananda in Brickfields, just beside Legends Claypot Biryani. From the trunk road of Jalan Tun Sambathan, the car park is just next to BSN (Bank Simpanan National). You can get here either via MRT/LRT KL Sentral.
