Food Thoughts: When the restaurant puts it in the menu or its "brand" that the recipe is the Signature dish of the restaurant, it really need to make sure it deserved as its "Signature dish" to serve it right to the customer all the time. The Char Siew today (as its number 1 Signature dish) was a disaster, "burned" and "hard" at the same time; did not complain at all and ordered their charcoal toast for breakfast instead.
When asked by the "captain" why I did not finish the plate of wan ton mee when I ordered the toast, I told him about the Char Siew. He told me I should have complain about it and offered a replacement plate but I replied "never mind".
