Food Thoughts: Yap Cafateria opens only for lunch and dinner. Other than chicken rice which is not their signature, there is a long menu list for 单 "single meals" for different kind of fried rice/fried noodles combinations. In fact, according to a colleague, you can even special order of combinations you like and the chef will cook for you! If you come a group, there are also many dishes from vegetable to different meat varieties, eggs or tofu all can be ordered from a series of colorful menu or menu listed on the walls, 3 sizes of all dishes are available (small, medium, large).
The shop lot ground level is without air-conditioned, upstair is for bigger groups with large tables.
On recommendation, I ordered the Sabah Fried Chicken with Fried Rice (likely the dish nothing to do with the Sabah State), well marinated fried chicken although the rice a little bit oily. 奶白 Nai Bak vegetable dish recommended by the lady boss was also not bad, it's garnished with tiny fried anchovies.
