Food Thoughts: If the restaurant's crowd is of any indication to its popularity, including people queing to find a place to sit as well as people queing up to pay where the cashier is seen non stop receivng money; then Village Park must be one of the "top" nasi lemak place in Klang Valley, or as they call it, a nasi lemak powerhouse in Damansara Utama. Be prepared for a huge crowd eagerly to get a place to sit at around 12:30 lunch time everyday.
The restaurant owned by a Chinese Couple but Muslim converted serves their Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng as their signature dish as well as Lontong, Nasi Daging, or Nasi Lemak with Sotong or Rendang Ayam/Daging. There are 3 queues, one for "tapao"/take-away, one for a table for dining in, and one for the cashier. Dine-in or Take-away for the first time, you should be considering the Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng/Rendang Ayam and Teh Tarik as the first choice.
Early birds at 7am should lend you at the good seat with a table outside the restaurant. For early birds, I am imagining a cooler temperature due to the rain the night after, at around 7am; served on the table is a coconut flavored warm nasi lemak and that ever "inviting" signature crispy fried chicken in the outside and tendour meat inside as well as a hot glass of teh tarik.
Parking is not easy near the shop at peak hours but you can park at the shopping mall "The Starling" (1st hour free, subsequent hour $1/hour).
