Food Thoughts: Freshly steamed rice, crisply fried chicken coupled with 3 kinds of sauce which is Kerutuk, Gulai Darat, and Sambal, plus a few slices of cucumber; and that's how Nasi Kukus was served at Hatinies Shah Alam. I definitely like it, especially the Kerutuk gravy on the steamy hot rice and the sambal on the side for the fried chicken. It was definitely a good combination.
Pengat Pisang however was on the sweet side of things, a dessert for the younger generations; nevertheless, the melted sweet gravy on the banana slices was interesting as I finished all of the bananas and left the thick sweet gravy un-touched. I suppose if there were less of the sugar (gula melaka) and more of the pandan flavor and sago; it would have been perfect a perfect dessert for my taste.
