For breakfast today, the 正月十五 15th day of the Chinese New Year is a rm$6.50 "巴斯馬蒂椰漿飯配炸薯仔肉餅和蘇東 Nasi Lemak Basmati w/Perkedel & Sotong" which comes in excellent warm 巴斯馬米飯 Basmati rice. The Nasi Lemak biasa comes with 黃瓜 cucumber, 煮雞蛋 boiled egg, 炸江鱼仔 fried anchovies, and 叁巴酱 sambal. Add-on 炸薯仔肉餅 Perkedel and some 蘇東 Sotong for rm$6.50. AND other add-ons are 炸雞 deep fried chicken and I think 仁當牛肉 Rendang as well.
Would have thought that the opening day's life music was only a one time thing but apparently on weekend Morning and Night will have Solo Music by Mr Nash (a full time musician) with his classical guitar where 古典吉他演奏 Classical music, Malay songs and English oldies are his specialties! The first classical music piece today was Romance de Amour! This 15 days old Malay Café at USJ16, opened on the eve of the Chinese New Year is fast becoming a popular destination for some tasty Malay food in the morning and Western in the evenings. AND for the future visits soon will be looking forward for the 印尼牛肉麵 Bakso, 叻參 Laksam, OR the lunch time 馬來雜飯 Nasi Campur (Malay mixed rice) or 印度香飯 Nasi Biryani!
