Today's breakfast is a rm$10 "大港飯 Nasi Dagang" which comes with excellent 椰香飯 steamed coconutty flavored rice, some 沙拉 salads (pickled cucumber and carrots) on the side, 巴鰹魚 Ikan Tongkol or Mackarel Tuna, plus 咖哩 curry and 辣叁巴 spicy sambal on the side, topped with a 紅辣椒 red chili. 大港飯 Nasi Dagang, the Malay word Dagang" means "商人 Traders", could have originated from the dish concocted by the early traders for their packed provision while plying their trades at the time, hence the name of the dish that has stuck until today. and it is likely created by the 登嘉樓馬來人 Terengganu Malays. The dish is now a popular breakfast item in 泰國南部 Southern Thailand, the East Coast of 登嘉樓 Terengganu and 吉蘭丹 Kelantan. "大港飯 Nasi Dagang (Traders Rice)"
