Thoughts: If you keep it simple here with the basic noodle dish; it will be between rm$10.90 to rm$16.90 at most, for either soup, curry, tom yam tp go several noodles choices. There is also a rice dish with braised pork! BUT there are also maybe 25-30+ Yong Tao Foo add-on choices; and of course exotic items like a while Abalones, Abalone slices, or oysters. The standard noodle dish plus the Add-ons can easily set you back rm$30 - rm$40 per meal here. For the more adventurous, there are also Fish head noodles as well as fish meat bowls like the 石斑魚頭米 Grouper Fish Head Noodle to a bowl of exotic 龍趸魚 Long Daan (from rm$18 to rm$32+ per bowl!)

亞坤 Ah Koong Restaurant was founded in 1975 when it first opened its door in Taman Sentosa (佛州新山 Johor Bahru) as a family operated Fish ball noodles stall. The unique characteristics of Ah Koong's fishballs are that they are 100% Wolf herring and yellowtail fish meat with No preservatives added and No boric acid added. The signature fish balls comes with smooth and springy texture, famous in not just JB but to Singaporeans as well.
Today's noodle choice is a rm$12.90 "咖哩叻沙麵 Curry Laksa Mee rm$12.90" with s special home-made yellow noodles choices (very nice), laksa soup was creamy (a bit oily) and the standard bowl also comes with 炸腐竹 fried fu chok, 豆腐卜 tau fu pok, a few 炸釀豆腐 fried yong tao foo and super fresh 鳥蛤 cockles. Add-on was AK's must try Fish Ball (手工素球 Handmade Veggie Ball) as well the popular 脆皮魚餅 Fish Cake, a bit pricey for the Add-ons but were definitely delicious.
