Thoughts: MYAirline (Z9) is a low cost carrier airline operating domestic routes. MYAirline was born out of a discussion that took place in late 2020 between an airline industry veteran, 張慶福 Rayner Teo Kheng Hock and a Malaysian entrepreneur, 拿督吳煥華 Datuk Goh Hwan Hua. It is 88%-owned by Zillion Wealth Bhd, Trillion Cove Holdings Bhd (10%) and Mr Teo (2%), who is also MYAirline CEO. Flights out of KLIA2 were in operations only slightly 2 months ago since January 2023. The new Airline is headquartered in Subang Jaya, Selangor and primarily operates from KLIA2.

It is probably (with the current 50% promotion price) the cheapest budget domestics flight in the country as the 1-way KL-Penang flight was rm$69. As with any budget airlines, the flight costs does not include luggage check-in and if need so; a 15kg baggage check-in will costs rm$45 (almost the price of the flight ticket).
At the moment, customers will have to queue to for the boarding pass and luggage check-in with only 3 counter available, while Air Asia have really a lot more counters (as KLIA2 was primarily build initial for Air Asia anyways). Boarding Pass & Bag Tag Printers for the new airline also wasn't ready at the moment.
Since the hot seat today was only rm$69, surely the standard seats were cheaper! Purchased food is available by the MYAIRLINE's MYKopitiam which offers 4 meals of rm$15 each: 椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak, 漁網煎餅 Roti Jala, 炒麵 Mee Goreng, and 韓式炸醬麵 Korean JyaJangMyeon; along with Noodle Cups and beverages.

Malaysia approves two new airlines in aftermath of pandemic in 2022. And besides MYAirline Sdn Bhd (MYAirline) being the newly-established ultra low-cost carrier (ULCC), Johor-based SKS Airways Sdn Bhd had also been granted an ASL (Aircraft, Support & Leasing) said to focus on domestic short-range flights to island-based and coastal resorts from major cities within Peninsular Malaysia. Meanwhile, After almost a decade in operation, Malindo Air has been rebranded as Batik Air!
