Thoughts: An interesting variant of the 檳城粿條湯 Penang Kway Teow Th'ng, 88興記 Heng Kee Noodle is a stall in Kafe Kam 88 which is located in 峇六拜 Bayan Lepas, 檳城 Penang. As it is called "興記檸檬粿條湯 Heng Kee Lemon Kway Teow Soup", the soup noodle bowl comes with chunky 檸檬片 lemon wedges giving that savory soup kind of a lemonade flavor! The rm$7 savory-sour-sweet noodle bowl comes with 魚丸 fish balls, 豬肉碎 minced pork, maybe some 魚餅 fish cakes as well plus a 水波蛋 poached egg! The addition of lemon does not feel like a gimmick, and overall it is a likable variant of the typical Penang Kway Teow Th'ng. The rm$7 "金瓜薏米 Pumpkin Barley" was a good ending to this first meal in Penang!

"88興記 Heng Kee Noodle stall" offers 檸檬粿條湯 Lemon Kway Teow Soup and 苦瓜米粉 Bittergourd Bihun/麵線 MeeSua and I believe both the Lemon and Bittergourd noodles besides Kway Teow or Bihun; customer can also choose 雲吞麵 Wanton Mee, 金蛋麵 Maggie Mee, 米台木 Mi Tai Mak, 米粉 Bihun and 伊麵 Yee Mee.
AND the corner shop lot multi-hawker stall kopitiam also offers other hawker foods like Western Breakfast, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Porridge & Fried Rice plus looks like Chinese Mixed rice. Looks like the shop lot is next to a residential area in Bayan Lepas AND it is maybe just 300m+ off the major trunk road of Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah (that connects South of Penang to Georgetown), and is probably one of the longest road in Penang island.
