Thoughts: The once designated "Lepak place" in USJ was affected by the Covid lockdown since the March 2020 and it was almost dead for some time; not until the new Operator took over and then saw a Revival of this "Evening only" HALAL Makan place.
Late 2020's also saw a new food stall "Kapten Corner" which is operated by Mr Azmin (a retrenched pilot) offering Curry Noodle and Fruit Rojak for lunch until mid-night; The Malaysian pilot Azrin Mohamad Zawawi’s optimism made him an Internet sensation with his unique way of promoting his pandemic-forced food business by donning his uniform serving food to customers at USJ11's Boom Town. . AND of course Azmin has now gone by to his flying while his family continue the food stall business at Boom Town. The Open air seating area, like a Medan Selera and surrounded by multiple hawker stalls offering from Pancakes, Nasi Lemak, Western steaks, Naan and Tandoori, etc. Besides the hawker food and open air eating space, the "Boom Town" Shop lot houses a Café Bar operated by a Malay couple; the usual Coffee like Latte and Cappuccino uses standard 危地馬拉咖啡豆 Guatamala coffee beans, and Today's Coffee at $8.90 is a good cup of 拿鐵 Latte at a reasonable price.
