Thoughts: This Warung, "Nasi Lemak Kukus Mak Aji", maybe about 350m off Jalan Kuantan - Kemaman, South of Sungai Balok, Kuantan. The Warung looks like one of the residential house, and offering breakfast as early is 5am until noon. 

The locals say that it is one of the best 大港飯 Nasi Dagang in town; at rm$4.50, you get a warm plate of 蒸米飯 Nasi Kukus with a little bit of 黃瓜 cucumber on the side, plus an excellent 材魚(金槍魚) Tongkol Fish curry. Highly recommended!

Nasi Dagang (or "Traders dish") is a Malaysian dish consisting of 椰漿蒸飯 rice steamed in coconut milk, 咖哩魚 fish curry and extra ingredients such as 醃黃瓜 pickled cucumber and 胡蘿蔔 carrots. The dish is well known as a breakfast serving in the 東海岸 East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia (登嘉樓 Terengganu, 吉蘭丹 Kelantan, 彭亨 Pahang and 柔佛部分地區 parts of Johor) and even for the Malay ethnic group in the 泰國南部 South of Thailand. 

“Trader’s dish or 大港飯 Nasi Dagang” is a dish of rice and curry. Can be found everywhere in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, as a popular meal for breakfast as “椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak” is in the west coast. Nasi Dagang could have originated from the dish concocted by the 早期生意佬 early Traders for their packed provision while conducting their trades at the time, hence the name of the dish that has stuck until today.
