Thoughts: Enroute from Kuantan Airport to the Hotel, the Airport Taxi guy (Mr Asri) stopped by here for lunch. The place is 5 or 6km North of Kuantan, Pahang; at Kampung Sungai Karang Darat; and about 200m off Jalan Kemaman-Kuantan.

Warung Dila'dee is a typical road side 亞答店鋪 Warung on the outskirts of Kuantan, and offering a variety of East Coast Rice dishes. AND today's lunch is a rm$8 "安邦飯 Nasi Ambeng Kepingin". The Malaysian style Nasi Ambeng or Nasi Ambang is an 印度尼西亞 Indonesian origin cuisine with an interesting combination of 白飯 rice and 炒麵 fried noodles on the same plate! AND usually accompanied with 肉椰絲 Serunding, 咸蛋 Salted egg, maybe 炸馬鈴薯餅 Bergedel, and 豆豉 Tempeh, 参巴醬 Sambal Goreng, plus possibly some 小鹹魚 small Salted fish.
The popular Javanese cuisine from Indonesia, especially within the Javanese-Malay Communities in Peninsular Malaysia. The dish is popular in 新加坡 Singapore, 柔佛Johor, and 雪蘭莪 Selangor AND 炒麵 fried noodles was added as additional 調味品 condiments. It is said that in Java, Nasi Ambeng is prepared as a big Platter on a Dulang (a big stainless steel round plate) or maybe basket as a feast for community dining and usually served during festive or special occasions such as a 盛宴 kenduri (religious ceremonies).Today's rm$8 "安邦飯 Nasi Ambeng Kepingin" comes with white rice surrounded with 肉椰絲 Serunding, 炒麵 fried noodles, 炒米粉 fried beehoon with some 長豆 long beans, a large 老抽雞腿 Ayam Kicap drumstick and topped with 黃瓜 cucumber and a 小鹹魚 small salted fish! Incidentally, "Kepingin" when translate from Indonesian means 慾望 "Keinginan" or "Hasrat". There are few stalls in Warung Dila'dee and the 安邦飯 Nasi Ambeng is by "Nasi by Zam", the stall also offers 老抽雞飯 Nasi Ayam Kicap, 奶油雞飯 Buttermilk Chicken rice, and 韓式炸雞飯 Rice with Korean fried chicken. Other stalls in Warung Dila'dee offers 馬來雜飯 Nasi Berlauk, 吐司 Roti Bakar, and maybe 煎餅 Roti Canai as well.
