Thoughts: It wasn't busy on a weekday (Monday) and although arriving at noon, was able to check-in immediately rather than the normal 4pm check-in time. Swiss-Garden Resort & Spa is about 30 minutes driving distance North of Kuantan Airport (rm$50 for the trip from Airport to Hotel).

The lobby was spacious with high ceiling and inviting seating areas, but it is definitely an aged hotel. From the lobby, it overlooks the pool side and the beach which is at the lower ground floor. There are 2 Restaurants: The Garden Terrace and The Blossom Chinese Restaurant plus a PUB that offers Beer and Western meals. North of the Hotel is the Berserah Beach amd Balok Beach and the South is the interesting Pantai Batu Hitam (Black Rock Beach).
The Deluxe Room Hotel facing the road (not the sea) costs rm$253 (including the rm$3 Tourist Tax). The Room is spacious, surprisingly clean, with a large LCD TV, and most importantly good Wifi.
