I suppose the must have at CMK (Chan Meng Kee) is the signature 焦糖五花肉叉燒 caramelized pork belly Char Siew which some say is the best East South North and West Malaysia! The history of 陳明記 CMK brand began 17 years ago in 2005; and before they move to a SS2/66 shop lot, Chan Meng Kee made its name in Section 17 at 美味咖啡餐廳 Restoran Mel’s Corner as a hawker stall and if not mistaken that corner multi-hawker chine kopitiam is now called 興隆美食城茶餐室 Restoran Xing Long.
The menu at the Puchong branch looks the same as the Damen Mall branch; the 叉燒雲吞麵 Charsiew Wanton Mee here is rm$12.50 (today) compare to the street prices of rm$7-rm$8 at multi-hawker stall Chinese Kopitiams. BUT not having that famous CMK Charsiew Wanton Mee today, but for lunch today is a rm$12.50 "水餃湯雲吞麵 Sui Gao Soup Wanton Mee" which comes with 3 large size 水餃 Sui Gao, generous amount of Wanton Noodles plus some 菜心 Choy Sum and a plate of 青辣椒 green chili.
