The establishment's first outlet is in Bangsar Shopping Mall called "Page 2 Cafe"! However "Cafe in a Box" initial operation model is as "Pop-up Cafes", its humble beginnings quickly turn into 2 permanent Cafes after a series of services in various Events and Exhibits.

The establishment's first outlet is in Bangsar Shopping Mall called "Page 2 Cafe"! However "Cafe in a Box" initial operation model is as "Pop-up Cafes", its humble beginnings quickly turn into 2 permanent Cafes after a series of services in various Events and Exhibits.
It is perhaps best to describe "Kings Hall Cafe" as "Attractively unusual in an Inconspicuous location". Located in PJ Seksyen 13's industrial zone, the Cafe is sitting in a renovated old structure previously a recording studio called "Kings Hall". In fact, the Recording studio is still in operation at a building just next to the Cafe. Most people will be surprised that 鄧麗君 Teresa Tang's first album is recorded here at this location by Kings Hall studio!
Parking is free and should be available all-day (at least as seen for today). The Cafe offers different spaces for its customers; there is even a private enclosed space for group of 4-6 meeting room. Long tables with high chairs for group dining as well as maybe 8-10 working tables for 1-2 persons; unfortunately only certain tables come with wall electric outlets. There are several quiet tables at the back which is conducive as a quiet working spot (except lunch hours). Wifi speed and connection seemed intermittent today, not sure of the reasons.
Started the morning here with the rm$14 "義大利"夏可里朵冰搖咖啡"(茶) Shakerato Tea"; something like the Taiwanese Bubble Tea, but Shakerato is an Italian-Style Shaken Ice-Coffee and not Tea ("Shakerato" is just the Italian work for English "Shaken" with an Italian ending) and it is something very popular especially on hot summer days in Italy. However, what's served here is the Tea version of Shakerato!
For lunch, it is the rm$18.80 "日式咖喱饭 Japanese Curry Chicken Rice" that comes with Home-made Japanese curry served with Chicken, a sunny side egg and rice; and ending the evening at 5pm with an excellent cup of Latte. (not surprising since the Cafe baristas have been active in many Coffee making championships)
Today's choice of beverages at "Kings Hall Cafe" was excellent but the Japanese curry rice did not surprise too much but the Cafe does offers several choices of Rice Bowls, Pasta, Waffles, and Big Breakfast with price from rm$12.80 to rm$23.80. There is however a lot to like about the Cafe especially no hassle for the parking, work-friendly with excellent service by the staff. Working table areas come with good lighting, air-conditioned is good and music not too loud. Also liked that the distance between tables are at least 6+ feet apart, but not every wall table have electric outlets and only one when available; so, either bring fully charged devices or bring a multi-point (3-way) adapter for charging multiple devices if needed.
Definitely will be back if need a place to work the whole day! And yes, opposite Kings Hall Cafe is PJ Midtowns which offers at least 2 Japanese watering hole (an Izakaya and Whiskey Wine Bar) which can can seen opened for business at 6pm today as well as another Cafe called "Bookmark" Cafe.
