Thoughts: Last time here was Oct 4 last year, and left with positive experience on Chan Meng Kee's "烧肉咖喱叻沙面 Roasted Pork Curry & Ala-Carte Charsiew". Today's re-visit was for it's叉燒雲吞麵 Signature Char Siew Wanton Mee and the new location is still in the same row of shops along SS2/66 at No. 40 which is 2 shop lots from its previous location at No. 44 (a corner shop lot). Fortunately, parking was still easy and free at 8am on a weekday.

After 1 year, the new location is still offering exactly the same menu; however, a regular Charsiew Wanton Mee is now rm$8.50 (1 year ago was rm$8). The Wanton Mee comes in a bowl instead of a plate, with 5 pieces of good roasted charsiew; wished for more generous supply of pork lard. Very nice springy wanton mee and the wanton on the side was also not bad. Overall, an acceptably good Charsiew Wanton Mee but slightly more expensive compared to the usual rm$6-rm$7 of a similar plate of Charsiew Wanton Mee by typical Chinese kopitiam stalls around town.
Chan Meng Kee does offer good safe Covid-19 dining procedures with workers all on Masks and tables with Social Distancing partition screens. There are not too many restaurants that offers table partition screens around town.
Other items that is of interest to me in the next visit probably are Chan Meng Kee's 蝦雲吞面 Prawn Wanton Noodle, 牛腩面 Braised Beef Noodle, or 白雞咖哩叻沙面 Poached chicken curry Laksa Noodle. The restaurant also offers Ala-Carte with prices of rm$5 - rm$9, and the 水餃 Dumpling "Sui Gao", 燜牛腩 Braised Beef Briskets, and 咖哩叻沙豬皮豆腐撲 Curry Laksa broth with Pork Skin & Bean Curd Puff looks appetizing as well.
