Instead of expecting only Take-away allowed; But the final SOP for the CMCO commencing today recommends Take-away but stipulate Dine-in is still possible but limited to 2 persons per table! There were no road blocks along Federal Highway from SS16 exit to Federal Highway all the way to Sungai Way's exit to SS1. Looks like business activities are as usual but just seemed lesser people commuting by road this morning.
For breakfast, stumbled upon a Mamak restaurant in SS1 called "Restoran Bumbung (Kampung Tunku). Just a single row of shop lots with less than 10 shops along the trunk road of Jalan Baiduri SS1/22, next to Petron petrol station. Parking seems easy at 7am today. The 嘛嘛 Mamak offers 马来椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak, ready 炒米粉面 fried Beehoon and Mee and 印度煎饼 Indian Roti, and surprisingly not too bad of a Nasi Lemak. The rm$8 Nasi Lemak plate comes with warm but "light" coconut flavored rice, generous amount of 魷魚叁巴醬 sambal sotong, a 水煮蛋 boiled egg, 炸馬鈴薯餅 perkedel, and 超辣叁巴醬 spicy sambal sauce on the side.
The short row of shop lots also offers a Malay and a Chinese Eatery. The "Mamak" Restoran Bumbung is a corner shop lot, the single shop lot offers about 10+ tables, looks clean, no "foul longkang smell" and rightfully 2 chairs per table following the latest CMCO's SOP.
