Thoughts: This is a rare Medan Selera that offers a mixed variety of Malay-Indian-Chinese hawker stalls and it is available for morning breakfast. Did not explore all the stalls but the section where "順記咖喱麵 Shun Kee Curry Mee" is at also offers an Indian beverage like teh tarik etc, a Pan Mee stall and I think 2 stalls that offers early morning Chicken rice. That Chicken rice stalls seemed packed with customers, perhaps worth a trip to sample the steamed chicken rice for breakfast!

The Indian 印度奶茶 TehC is rm$1.30 (not the usual rm$1.80 - rm$2), and still not bad! But "順記咖喱麵 Shun Kee Curry Mee" offers both Har Mee (which is not available today) as well as Curry Mee. At 8:30am, too bad 新鮮鳥蛤 fresh cockles already finished for the day! The Curry Mee comes with thick slightly oily curry broth, slices of 白斩雞塊 steamed chicken (don't think other meat choices are available), lots of 長豇豆 yardlong beans, some 豆腐扑 taufu pok, some 芽菜 bean sprout, and the best part was the 猪皮 pork skin. At rm$6.50, nothing to complain about and satisfactory to my liking.
Despite CMCO, there is a huge crowd here at the Medan Selera, and many more come for take-away. Interesting that Selangor has now a ruling (since June 2020) that forbids foreign workers/citizens to manage any hawker stalls in the state!
For a more peaceful breakfast and easier parking, 7am+ maybe a better time; at 8:30am today, there are still limited parking around the Park area just opposite the Medan Selera; otherwise there should be parking in front of SJK (C) Chen Moh along Jalan 2/32 especially since schools are closed during the CMCO periods.
Jalan Tandang Medan Selera offers a good variety of hawker foods ,there are no foul smelly longkang (at least where I was today), and cleanliness is acceptable. Customers coming into the area do wear mask and as far as I am concern, appropriate social distancing can be seen.
