Thoughts: The Barren Jack Shiraz Cabernet Red Wine, with an ABV of 14%, is brewed by the Barren Jack Winery in South Eastern Australia. The Dark red color red wine spots comes with good review in the internet and an above average of 3.5+/5 star rating and comes with touch of oaky notes, an easy drinking table wine that goes well with red meats dishes of lamb or beef. In Australia, one can possible get a glass of this Wine for maybe AUD$3-$4 and a bottle probably at only AUD$11-$13; But with Tax and all, its at least rm$60-rm$70 sold at on-line stalls here in KL, or after all the Distribution costs will likely be around rm$100 or above per bottle and typically a glass of this "perhaps upper lower to mid-range" wine maybe rm$18 or above. Today's rm$16 glass of dark red "BARRENJACK Shiraz Cabernet" has a very good aroma and flavor to it, and hints of oaky flavor; probably would also go well with the Signature Chicken dishes here at SS4's "The Bassment"!

The Cafe "The Bassment" is located in SS4, opens for lunch and dinner with their Signature Chicken dishes. The Cafe also offers Coffee, bottled beers, and Wine. It is owned and run by 3 Lim brothers since December 2017. The Bassment is not just a Cafe, but this particular shop lot also has a basement (quite unusual for any shop lots around town), offering private functions or events for customers. Parking here is challenging in the afternoons but easier after 6pm except for Wednesday when there is a Pasar Malam.
Definitely looking forward to sample the Cafe's Chicken dishes with another 1-2 glasses of wine!
