Parking: MBPJThoughts: The rm$22 "豚肉カツサンド Pork Katsu Sando" did not impress, taste excellent but too much "FAT" portion; otherwise it would have been acceptable but still a little expensive! Milligram does make a good cuppa of "冰淇淋咖啡 Affogato"!
Breaded, 炸猪肉 deep-fried pork, wrap some crustless white bread around it, and you’ve got yourself a perfect, filling snack known as a カツサンド Katsu Sando. Katsu Sando (カツサンド) is short for Katsu Sandwich (カツサンドイッチ). Katsu should bring out the meaning "Cutlet" (portion of meat, usually served grilled or fried and often covered in breadcrumbs) and Sandwiches are called Sando in Japan, like Tamago Sando (たまごサンド or Egg sandwich). But in Japan, Katsu Sando usually is associated with 猪排三明治 Pork Cutlet Sandwich or sometimes referred to as 豚肉カツサンド Buta Katsu Sando. And both the Pork Katsu Sando and Egg Sando are popular Sandwich offerings in most Japanese convenience stores. But a another "trendy but luxurious" Japanese Katsu Sando Sandwich will be the Wagyu Katsu Sando 和牛豚肉カツサンド (Wagyu Beef Sandwich), but it is a cheap sandwich. The famed Wagyu beef Sandwich can set you back up to rm$200 - rm$800 depending on where you are having it at. There are a few Japanese restaurant in KL that offers the beef sandwich like たか Ushi Kl and 鮨龙 Sushi Ryu, and both also offering お任せ Omakase as well!
