Thoughts: Opened since 2013, the name "Jam & Kaya Café" following the initials of its creators; Janice and Karen, both whom are Australia graduates back to KL to have a dream Café of their own; the kind of Cafe they both cherished while studying in Australia. The quaint brunch Café's location is somewhat mysterious as it is hidden inside PJ Seksyen 52's Palm Sports Centre. Looks more like a house with a homey interior layout; and on better days before Covid-19, you can even have a Cuppa outside the Café overlooking the swimming pool of the Sports Center. Not just "Jam & Kaya", but there are several Pubs and Bistros, including A&W are all part of the PJ Palm Sports Centre.

Unless you are familiar with this part of PJ, you may be looking for parking along Jalan Produktiviti which houses many government buildings (most of the parking here are designated for the government office users easily mistaken as MBPJ parking!). There are 4 parking options; all along Lorong Sultan (a smaller one-way-access road parallel to Jalan Produktiviti), first is the rm$5 Valet Parking just outside the Sports Centre; another choice is the rm$1.50/hour parking inside the multi-level parking in the MBPJ Complex C Parking (2-3 minutes walk to the Cafe). Cheapest perhaps are the MBPJ parking for rm$0.60/hour via "Smart Selangor" APP along Lorong Sultan as well. Another choice is FREE Parking inside A&W with maybe 3-5 minutes walk to the Cafe.
Jam & Kaya Cafe is known for its "Chocolate drinks" but today is sampling another Signature beverage, the rm$13.50 "摩卡配巧克力球 Mocha with Choco Balls"! The crunchy Choco Balls adds a sweet crunchy highlight to an already good cup of Mocha Coffee. For those with a sweet tooth, perhaps worth sampling another signature beverage, the "热巧克力配巧克力球 Hot Chocolate with Choco Balls".
The "Star dish" of the Cafe is its Pancakes which comes in both sweet and savory variants. The rm$22.50 "農夫西式煎餅早餐 Farmer's Pancake Breakfast" is a savory pancake dish, despite a little pricey but surprisingly satisfactory was well. The signature recipe comes with pancakes sandwiched with hash brown, sauteed button mushrooms, chicken ham, and salad leaves. Finally topped with 2 sunny sides and syrup on the plate; culminating a sweet amd savory concoction.
A more than satisfactory meal at "Jam & Kaya" today. Will be back soon for another Pancake brunch, maybe the next visit will be for the the Cafe's 2 other Signature offerings which are the sweet "Jam & Kaya's Pancake" and the "Hot Chocolate with Choco Balls"!
