Thoughts: With at least 16 locations across Klang Valley today, the self-owned local premium cafe chain has been in the F&B scene since 2008. "Hometown Hainanese Coffee" prides itself with it's signature coffees made with traditional coffee production methods. The home- roasted coffee beans are freshly ground and brewed in all outlets to ensure the quality of every cup. Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with today's rm$6.90 海南茶 Hainan Cha
Internet Wifi speed: Available but not yet tested for its speed
Digital Nomad Work-friendly: Looks Possible
Elctrical outlets: Yes
Free Drinking Water: No
Order & Delivery: Table Service

The Cafe offers quite an extensive menu of mostly local cuisines, the rm$18.60 "海南雞飯 Hainan Chicken rice w/ Bean Sprout" does come with tender steamed chicken sitting on a bed of bean sprouts, topped with fried garlic and on the side more garlic and chili sauce, overall a good plate of chicken rice. The bowl of cabbage soup was surprisingly good! Nevertheless, rm$18.60 (before-tax) is quite expensive for a plate of steamed chicken rice where one can get the same or better version elsewhere for half or even less that amount albeit in less ambiance, hot and humid not too clean Chinese kopitiams.
Parking wasn't that easy in the early evenings, but the other non F&B shop closes for the day, more freed-up MPSJ parking should be available. There is however a semi-covered open space parking behind the shop somewhere in SS23/15 but have not yet investigated its parking rates. Alternatively, there is a large playground along SS24/15 with ample "free" patking (5-8 minutes walking distance) if you can find your eay into that Gated area of Taman Megah.
This particular branch of "Hometown Hainan Coffee" in SS23 looks more classy at least compared to the USJ, Tropicana City Mall, or the KLIA2 locations. Even the outdoor tables seating areas are quite comfortable; the indoor air-conditioning are partitioned into several sections; and the tables near the walls do have electrical power outlets for digital devises. With the Cafe open as early as 8am daily, and the availability of electrical outlets designed for wall tables; I am guessing that it could be a work-friendly Cafe!
