SS2 為食街 Wai Sek Kai comes with 82 stalls and 168+tables (2-4 person per table). Some stalls starts as early as around 10am but most are around 11/11:30am until just maybe 8:30/9pm (compared to normal closing time hours before mid-night before Covi-19). The Char Koay Teow Boss lamented about the continuing eroding business of the Hawker stalls at the SS2 "Wai Sek Gai" were badly hit during the Covid starting March this year and did not improved in the current CMCO, many stalls have also decide not to operate at all. At 6pm today, maybe only 5% or less of the tables were with Dine-in customers, and not too many customers for take-away as well.
The rm$7 "炒粿条 Char Koay Teow", fairly good "Wok Hei" with prawns, "lap cheong" and cockles plus egg; and I think a little bit more spicy will be great! Personally liked it.
