Thoughts: From LDP direction Puchong-PJ-TTDI, after Taman Megah and before KDU, exit to SS2/55 and after a short distance and take a left turn to SS2/66; almost at the Junction of SS2/55 and SS2/66 you will find a humble little stall simply referred to as "SS2 Roadside Chee Cheong Fun" offering Chee Cheong Fun and Yong Tao Foo! It is only for dinner and available everyday at 7pm except Sundays. It is easy to find as it is the only stall at the location for at least 30 years or more, with bright florescent light and a couple of tables. Parking should be easy after 7pm along SS2/66 with lots of MPSJ parking in front of the SS2 shop lots.

According to a web article, the story of this "SS2 Roadside Chee Cheong Fun" goes all the way back to the early 1980s, where the late Mr Khoo Hoi Thiam and his wife Madam Mook Chin started selling home-cooked economy fried noodles at the backlane somewhere in PJ. When their business grew, they introduced chee cheong fun and moved to where the stall stands today. The second son, Chin Seong has taken over the stall business but her mother Madam Mook Chin still helps out in preparing the chee cheong fun. It is believed that they still sauce their Chee Cheong Fun from Ipoh and used to also offer the 安顺豬腸粉 Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun. 

Beside selling 豬腸粉 Chee cheong fun, and 釀豆腐 Yong tau Foo; 咖喱面 Curry Noodle is also available. Madam Mook Chin ask if I wanted to have herbal tea or Chinese desserts "糖水 Tong Shui".

Nothing is fancy here, like any 豬腸粉釀豆腐 YTFCCF stall, choose your choice of 豬腸粉 YTF and decide how many 豬腸粉 YTF, decide your 甜醬 sweet and 辣椒醬 chili sauce, and without or with 芝麻 sesame seeds. Several years ago, you can still have your 豬腸粉釀豆腐 YTFCCF here for rm$0.80/pc, with inflation caught up, and it is now at rm$1.20/pc. The little stall used to setup 10+ make-shift tables and chairs, during this CMCO period and tonight I can see just 5 tables. If you don't mind the dust and cars passing by just a few feet away from your dining table, and not forgetting eating almost in the dark; it is an interesting experience. I'd love to try Madam Mook's 糖水 Tong Shui and 咖喱面 Curry Noodle, next time!
