Thoughts: Not that I have anything against a foreigner cook but Mrs Leong (the owner) did fried-up a good plate of her Penang Char Koay Teow 5.5 months ago. At the time of opening the new stall in USJ One City neigbouring shop lot called "One Kopitime", she was still contemplating what name she would call her stall, she suggested maybe "阿姨"槟城炒粿條 (Auntie Penang Char Koay Teow). And now, a couple of months ago, it seemed she decided on "靓姨"槟城炒粿條 (Leng Yi Charo Koay Teow)!
The foreign cook fried me a plate of duck egg Char Koay Teow, not bad but did not meet my expectation of what I had before 5.5 months ago when it was prepared by the Penangite herself! Too bad Mrs Leong went on to adopt the same business model of many hawkers here in Klang Valley; I won't be visiting it again in the near future.
