Thoughts: Last visit to Tanjung Sepat and for Hai Yew Heng's famous Bao was Nov 19th 2013! The prices of Bao were from rm$1.40 - rm$2.20 but after over 5 years, its now from rm$2 - rm$3!
生肉包Sang Yoke Bao (rm$2.20) -> rm$3

That's more than 30% increase of price for every type of Bao; but its still packed with tourist today.
I really did like the 生肉包 Sang Yoke Bao today, with packed tight with pork meat as well as some eggs (more like a "small" Dai Bao)! Its best to savor the Bao when its steamy hot, that goes for the 豆沙包 Red Bean Bao which I think its black beans and not red beans. Recently, from social medai, many people don't like their services, and their pricy bao; I find the Bao sampled here today still not bad, although its almost 75 minutes drive from Subang to Tanjung Sepat.
The current owner 李振德 reveals that in the 1960s, his grandfather hired a sifu 海南师傅陈庭胜 from Hainan to teach them how to make Hainan Coffee and Meat Bao! The business was then given to 李振德's mother 林八妹, the rest is history. That said, 海友興包点 Hai Yew Heng have been selling 传统海南手工包 Traditional Hainan Home-made Bao since 1962 until today, that's almost 60 years of history. This little "factory" cum shop in Tanjung Sepat makes and sell over 1000 bao a day, from an interview article in Sin Chew Jit Po, it also said that they have branches in KL, Melacca and JB (Setia Indah)!
