Thoughts: February visit to the new JDV Cafe (openend in February just before the Chinese New Year) was a positive experience on it's Pesto Fettuccine as well as its Spanish Coffee "Cortado".

Today's revisit is to sample their rm$17.90 娘惹椰醬飯 Nyonya Nasi Lemak with comes with a free black coffee, and upgrade to any Coffee with a rm$4 discount. The Rice is a "Blue Colored Rice" (like those of 藍花飯 Nasi Kerabu), but unfortunately it wasn't as warm although good flavor. Sides are very spicy 娘惹魷魚 Nyonya Squid with 桑巴醬 Sambal, some 蕹菜 Kangkong, 黃瓜 cucumber, 油炸花生和鳳尾魚 fried peanuts and anchovies, 太陽蛋 sunny side, and a mediocrely 炸雞翅 fried chicken wing. Was expecting a lot from a rm$17.90 Nasi Lemak meal!
The rm$8 印度香料奶茶 Chai Latte (after rm$4 discount for the set upgrade from black coffee) was also lackluster in taste and presentation.
I am sure today's choices weren't the best of JDV Café, and still hopeful to be back to sample its other signature perhaps better efforts in the future.
