Tofu fah w/Chrysanthemum" wasn't that impressive, although the Tofu fah was expectedly smooth and soft.

Douhua (Chinese: 豆花 Douhua) is the short form of 豆腐花 Tao Fu Fa (Cantonese in Malaysia). It is a Chinese snack made with very soft tofu. It is also referred to as Tofu pudding, Soybean pudding, or 豆腐腦 Tofu brains.
Tofu is thought to originate in ancient China during the 漢朝 Han Dynasty. Liu An, the grandson of 漢高祖皇帝 Emperor Gaozu of Han, had the ambition to invent something to 長生不老 live forever. Liu An used soybean, beaten to get 打成細膩 niveous and tender tofu. People named it "豆腐腦 Tofu brains" because of its softness and texture. Tofu brains then became a popular snack during Han Dynasty.
Tofu brains" is a savory breakfast dish with 肉碎 meat, 泡菜 pickles, 香菇 mushrooms, 雞蛋 eggs and 油條 youtiao; and usually a 街頭小食 street food. On the other hand in 中國南方 Southern China, "豆花 Dou Hua" is often eaten with sweet flavor ing and referred to as 豆腐花 Tofu fa or 豆腐布丁 Tofu pudding. In summer, Tofu fa is a cold dessert while in winter, Tofu fa is served as a  hot dessert! So, 廣東 Guangdong, 香港 Hong Kong, 台灣Taiwan, or 馬來西亞 Malaysia and 新加坡 Singapore's Tofu fa is symbolic of the Southern Chinese Tofu cuisine.
The different styles and names of Tofu fa in China and other parts of Asia:
中國北方 Northern China - 豆腐腦 Tofu Brains (Hot Savory dish with soy sauce)
Douhua (sweet hot servings in winter, cold dessert in summer)
Spicy Douhua (spicy flavor)
Douhua (often served as cold with sesame paste)
Douhua (served as hot or cold along with taro balls, mochi, even peanuts etc)
Tofu fa (hot or sweetened with brown sugar)
Philippines - "Taho" (sweet brown syrup with sago pearls as breakfast by street vendors)
Indonesia - "Kembang Tahu" (hot or cold with palm sugar syrup & pandan leaves and ginger)
Thailand - "Taohuai" (Thai Hokkien) (served cold with milk and fruit salad)
Southern Vietnam - "Tàu Hủ Nước Dường" (warm with lychee with coconut water)
Central Vietnam - "Tàu Hủ Nước Dường" (cooked with spicy ginger)
Northern Vietnam - "Tàu Hủ Nước Dường" (warm or cold and served with jasmine
infused sugary water)
In recent years, there were an influx of Taiwanese style Douhua where the Tofu pudding is served along with a variety of toppings such as shaved ice, Fen yuan etc etc. And the shops are often decorated with clean and modern instagrammable look.
