Thoughts: Last time here was August 4th, 2018 (more than 2.5 years ago), it was for the Cafe's RM$12.80 特色古早味排骨蝦麵 (蝦湯+滷汁) Traditional Prawn Mee Special. Came back for the 特色滷汁排骨猪脚麵 Spare Ribs Pork Leg Noodle, but unfortunately it is only offered in the weekends now.

Settled for the rm$9.30 set meal of "特色金寶咖喱豬腸粉配猪皮 Kampar Curry Chee Cheong Fun with Pork skin" which also comes with 配白咖啡 White Coffee. Coffee was thick and strong, but the Kampar Curry Chee Cheong Fun wasn't impressive. The Curry Chee Cheong fun comes with not too fresh Cheong fun, some 豆腐卜 taufu pok, 炸豆腐皮 fried bean curd, and mediocre 豬皮 pork skin. Disappointed with the not too fresh 金寶豬腸粉 Kampar Chee Cheong fun, but looking forward for a weekend soon to have a go with the Spare Ribs Pork Leg dry noodle.

Kampar 金寶 is a charming, quaint little town near 怡保 Ipoh in 霹靂州 Perak; Kampar is famous for its food. For example, 魚蛋粉 fish ball noodles, 雞仔餅 chicken biscuit, 煲仔飯 claypot rice, 蝦麵 prawn mee, 瀨粉 "Lai Fun", 炒粿條 char kuay teow, 雲吞麵 wan tan mee, 面包鸡 Curry Chicken Bun, or 糯米飯 lor mai fan (glutinous rice), and 咸角仔 ham kok chai (salty vegetable dumpling). A few types of food that made their way out of Kampar town itself and is synonymous with Kampar are 金寶雞仔餅 Kampar Chicken biscuit, 金寶魚蛋粉 Kampar Fish ball noodle, and 金寶豬腸粉 Kampar Chee Cheong fun, where curry is often the preferred condiment. Kampar style of 豬腸粉 Chee Cheong fun, the steamed sheets of rice flour are hand cut into strips that very much looked like thick 粿條 Kuay Teow (rice noodles). In 巴生谷 Klang Valley, 金寶魚蛋粉 Kampar style fish ball noodle stalls can be found in many 華人咖啡店 Chinese Kopitiams while 金寶豬腸粉 Kampar Chee Cheong Fun is not as common. 

Chee cheong fun is a 中國南方的粵菜 Cantonese dish from southern China; commonly it served as snack, small meal or as a choice of dim sum (especially 香港腸粉 Hong Kong style Cheong Fun). There was this meaning for the name where 豬腸 “chee cheong” means 豬腸 pig intestine and 粉 “fun” means noodles. This is because the shape and size of the chee cheong fun is almost similar like pig intestine. The Chee Cheong fun in Malaysia was brought along with the early immigrants from 中國南來的移民 Southern China (perhaps more than 100 years ago). 

吉隆坡豬腸粉釀豆腐 KL Chee Cheong fun Yong Tao Foo can go with with 各種醬料 various sauces, usually along with meat or fish paste Yong Tao Foo: 魚丸 fish balls, 豬肉丸 pork balls, 腐竹 "fu chok" and 豬皮 pork skin, or use all kinds of 釀豆腐的材料 stuffed tofu. The sauce is mostly 辣椒醬 chili paste, 甜醬 sweet sauce, 蝦膏 shrimp paste or 咖喱醬 curry sauce, and it is mostly enjoyed at breakfast or afternoon tea time. KL Chee Cheong Fun is very commonly found as hawker stalls or even specialty shops in KL. The Home-made Yong Tao Foo stall in USJ17's 新永顺茶餐室 Weng Soon Jaya, USJ 14's 瑪嘉烈釀豆腐 Margaret Yong Tao Foo, as well as USJ14's 亞咪釀豆腐 Family Hakka Yong Tau Foo are good choices if you are in the USJ area.
吉隆坡齋滷味腸粉 KL Old Taste Vegetarian Chee Cheong Fun is probably a rare treat nowadays (probably only via motorbike vendors, there used to be one just outside the Old Imbi Market which is now closed or maybe try the SS2 morning market (on Fridays) or try the PJ Sea Park morning market). The Cheong Fun is served with special sweet sauce as well as 芥末 Mustard; along with different choices of vegetarian items (sometimes referred to as 齋滷味 "Zai Low May"). Unfortunately, not really sure of its availability around the USJ area.
吉隆坡紅醬豬腸粉 KL Red Sauce Chee Cheong Fun is another old-style Cheong Fun which is plain Cheong Fun with special "red" sweet sauce. One such stall offering this is 金蓮記 Kim Lian Kee which is 茨廠街 Petaling Street 茨廠街 (Chinatown) in KL. Not sure if this variant of Chee Cheong Fun is uniquely KL or other states, and don't think there is any of it in USJ.

安順豬腸粉 Teluk Intan (霹靂州 Perak) Chee Cheong Fun is made with 炒香調味的沙葛 sautéed sago, 蝦米 dried shrimps and 油蔥酥 fried shallots, and is served with 腌青辣椒 pickled green chilies. There is a stall in USJ 6's 相有海鮮茶餐室 Restoran Wai Kwan Kopitiam offering the Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun.

金寶豬腸粉 Kampar (霹靂州 Perak) Chee Cheong Fun is usually served with 豬皮 Pork skin, 長豆 long beans, and 咖哩醬 Curry Sauce. Other than USJ11's "金寶舊街場 Kampar Old Town Restaurant" offering this, not sure if any other choices of Kampar Chee Cheong Fun around the USJ area.

檳城豬腸粉 Penang Chee Cheong Fun often served with the plain Chee Cheong Fun with "蝦膏
醬 Har Gou" or Shrimp Paste, popular as breakfast and snacks which can be found as a street food or in many local Chinese markets. Don't think there is any in the USJ area.
廣東腸粉 Guangdong style cheong fun is even more unique where the cheong fun can be infused with varieties of minced meat as well as vegetables. Lately, there are these "廣東/中國石磨腸粉 Stone milled Cheong Fun" pops up as hawker stalls in Chinese Kopitiams around town offering this interesting variant of Chee Cheong Fun. I think there is one in USJ20's "天天荼餐室 Restoran Tian Tian".

香港腸粉 Hong Kong style Cheong fun usually available as one of the popular Dim Sum choices which 蝦腸 Har Cheong, 叉燒腸 Charsiew Cheong or 齋腸 "Zai" Cheong. Both USJ10s 錦選香港點心 Jin Xuan and USJ21's 鸿豐港式點心 Hoong Foong offers good Hong Kong style Cheong Fun.

香港街頭混漿腸粉 Mixed Sauce Cheong Fun that comes with the plain Cheong Fun all mixed with 3 main sauce 花生醬 sweet mixed Peanut butter sauce, 芝麻醬 Sesame sauce, and 海鮮醬 Hoisin sauce; and some vendors throw in some 燒賣 Siew Mai as well. This type of Cheong Fun is uniquely Hong Kong street Food Culture. Nearest to USJ to find this Hong Kong street food is probably Sunway Pyramid's "香港仔車仔麵 HK Boy Cart Noodle" and best to go along with a cup of 香港絲襪奶茶 Hong Kong "Xi Mut" Milk Tea!

There are probably many more variants of Chee Cheong Fun inside and outside of Malaysia; but since I haven't encountered them, I wouldn't know about them.
